How do I book Proud Flower Studio for my wedding?
First, we talk!
You tell me all about yourself and your plans and what you need.
We discuss colors and textures, event style and themes, preferred flowers, and budget.
Within just a few days of our consultation, I prepare and email you a personal, detailed proposal based on what we discussed.
After you review the proposal, we discuss and make any adjustments (if necessary). At that point, I turn the final proposal into a contract. Your date is officially booked upon signing it and providing a deposit.
Where does the consultation take place, and is there a fee?
If we can meet in person at my studio in Waterbury, that's fabulous! I am also happy to do a phone call or video conference for your convenience.
There is no fee for this consultation.
Whether you choose to work with me or not.
If you would like me to travel to you for the meeting, or to do an on-site consultation at your wedding venue, I do charge a minimum $200 fee for my time and travel, depending on the location.
When do I pay for my wedding flowers?
In order to hold your wedding day on our calendar, I require a deposit equal to one-third of the total price. The remaining balance is due three weeks (21 days) prior to your event.
How far in advance do I need to book with you?
As far in advance as you possibly can! We can book dates two years out, or two months out.
But, hey, we like shotgun weddings too, and helping people out... so if you met someone yesterday that you're going to marry tomorrow, or your original wedding florist can't commit, or you forgot to put 'flowers' on your lengthy wedding
to-do list, don't hestitate to give me a call. We can
almost always make it work.
How much do wedding flowers cost?
It depends. Your cost will be directly related to what your specific floral needs are: quantities, types of flowers, accents and vessels used, and how elaborate the designs and installations will be.
It's a great idea to have a budget in mind before we meet for a consultation, and to share it with me at that time. Therefore, my initial proposal will include only flowers and designs within your budget, and I can get you excited about what you can afford!
Once you sign the contract, you'll know exactly how much your flower cost will be. With the exception of any major changes on your end
(in which case, a new proposal and contract will be issued), there will be no additional fees. My proposal includes full execution as agreed, the cost of all materials and labor, and sales tax.
How do I pay for my wedding flowers?
Pay the way that's most convenient for you! We love cash and checks, and we happily accept all major credit cards, Paypal, and bank transfers too.
